Has anyone installed OpenVZ and then modprobed the Qemu accelerator module?

That would in relation do nothing. KQEMU is built solely for speeding up the use of QEMU, as it makes virtualization calls. These calls are made more efficient with kqemu. However, if you load up kqemu and use OpenVZ, this will do nothing as OpenVZ does not call to KQEMU at all.
