Hi
I'm happily using openvz from 15 months for web based apps on a Dell 1950 Poweredge, Xeon E5310, 3GB RAM, HD SAS ("bios" raid w/ megaraid_sas), Debian Etch, ovz 2.6.18 kernel.

Now I need java for some VPS, so I move to 2.6.18-14-fza-686 for binfmt_misc. I've not try yet if java apps work 'cause if I give a vzctl stop <N_VPS> (or similar) I obtain a kernel panic as follows:

Hello,

the first oops is similar to one described in bug #1028
http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1028
Do you have a chance to try the patch mentioned there?
If it does not help or doesn't eliminate all Oopses please file a bug into bugzilla.
Thank you very much for the assistance.

thanks,
in the meantime I've just discovered by myself that after building with CONFIG_BINFMT_MISC=y (need it for other purposes, so I've tried patching) I've got no kernel panic

by the way, before posting here I googled a bit with "site:openvz.org" but there was no result on bugzilla.openvz.org, seems not indexed

thanks again for confirmation
