I'm new to openvz, so please bear with me.

So basically this is what I like to do. I have a primary and secondary hdd.

I have the primary OS installed on the primary HD and on the secondary hd I will have 2 partition (/home2 and /backup)

I would like to place all the VMs on the primary hdd's /home, and to be able to mount /backup on the secondary hdd inside each VM. So that the programs on the VM's is able to send backups to the /backup.

I was reading up on this thread http://forum.openvz.org/index.php?t=msg&goto=931&&am p;srch=mount+hdd+to#msg_931 and it doesnt say if there is a way.

So please give me some advise.

Yes, it is posible if you add a file called VEID.mount in /etc/vz/conf/ with something like this:

#!/bin/bash
mount -n --bind /backup /vz/root/101/home/target
exit ${?}
