Hi,

I'm Running an AMD Opteron 64 Bid, 1GB Ram running openSUSE 10.2.
Following the Quickinstall Guide and installing. I've installed the SUSE
10 Kernel: kernel-default-2.6.16.21_2_ve026test016-1.x86_64.rpm

At boot time the vz init-script failes and it could not be started
manually.


Any ideas what can I do? Are there any informations on the website to
check the installation?

Hello,

First of all, I think you shouldn't use this kernel: it's too old.
Better use either 028test series or 023stable series.

Any way vz init script should work...
What vzctl version do you use? Is there any additional information
concerning vz init script on console except the [FAIL] message?
If no, are you able to find out why/where it fails by inserting debug
"echo" in vz init script?
