Hi,

Currently we use virtuozzo on a few system and I had a couple questions
about the openvz implimentation.

1.) How well does it handle namebased VEs. On virtuozzo you can have
multiple VEs share the same IP simular to how apache does namebased vhosts

2.) What significant differences are their in backing up and migrating VE
from 1 hardware node to another.

3.) Is there any GUI interfaces for this project at all yet?

Thanks

Miles

OpenVZ doesn't really handle namebased VEs. You have to setup it
yourself, by for example using reverse proxy's for every protocol you
want to support.

I'm too unfamiliar with virtuzzo to answer this one...

No. You might want to checkout the forums, where some usermade tools are
discussed (though not graphical as far as I know).

There is no special backup tool in OpenVZ. As for migration, Virtuozzo
migration tool is more advanced.
