The Intel CPU boost in OVZ7 doesn't work with Skylake or Kaby Lake generation CPUs.

Is it possible to fix this with the 'current' kernel? Or is there a roadmap?

Do you mean Turbo Boost Max 3.0?
According to red hat it should be enabled in RHEL7.5-based OpenVz7 kernels
https://access.redhat.com/discussions/3252931

In general we inherit core functionality and features from Red Hat,
so if it works on RHEL7 it should work on OpenVz7 kernel too.

Thank you,
Vasily Averin

You're right. It was not enabled in the bios. Embarassed

cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
4200000

Thanks Vasily

Edit: Any update about Windows Server 2019? (official VZ support) The 2016 tools works fine, but I would like to see an official release Cool
