I have machine with many stuff running on it like MySQL, Webservers etc., I would like to create some virtual machine on this machine. I just want to ask if the installation and new kernel boot won't by any problem to my already running stuff ?

And also, how do I select the kernel if this machine is in remote datacenter and I do not have access to bios ?
