I have OpenVZ VPS with Debian and 3 days later I was mistakenly overwritten 2 files (index.php and style.css) using WinSCP. Is there any way to recovery these files?

Of course I used search before asking, but I have problem with finding filesystem, becouse command:
df -h

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/simfs 444G 148G 274G 36% /
tmpfs 1.0G 0 1.0G 0% /lib/init/rw
tmpfs 1.0G 0 1.0G 0% /dev/shm

So when I used for example:
scalpel /dev/simfs -o output

Scalpel version 1.60

ERROR: You have attempted to use a non-empty output directory. In order
to maintain forensic soundness, this is not allowed.
Aborting.

I want try use this tutorial: www.pronique.com/blog/howto-recover-deleted-php-files-using- scalpel

Can you help me with this problem? Thanks
