What's the latest OpenVZ (Debian) 2.6 kernel that works as a Xen Dom0? [message #51128] |

The 2.6.18 (RedHat/CentOS) one seems to be specifically billed as Xen-compatible (I believe as a dom0 - which is what I'm looking for), but the 2.6.32 OpenVZ Debian kernel blanked when I booted it with Xen via Grub.
I'm running Debian 7 and have added the OpenVZ repository to /etc/apt as directed. The (latest) 2.6.32 kernel that's installed works quite well as far as OpenVZ functionality is concerned. But I'd also like to be able to spawn a Xen domU guest, so I'd like to run my (OpenVZ) kernel under Xen (running as a dom0). Is this known or intended to work with the Debian 2.6.32 kernel? Or is this only for RedHat (2.6.32 or 2.6.18) kernels? Is there a latest version known to work with Xen? Or any issues around using the kernel that way? I see that the grub configuration file has a Debian Xen entry (this is before including OpenVZ) and xen4.1 is loaded alongside the Debian kernel. So the 3.2 Debian kernel seems to transparently be compatible to be used as a dom0. When I try to put the OpenVZ kernel in that chain instead of the 3.2 one then my screen blanks shortly after the bootup starts.
Any help or feedback would be appreciated.
