Hi there,
Im in pretty much need of help.
I just installed a fresh Centos 6.5 and OpenVZ kernel on an IBM X3650 M4. After restart the boot stucks after
Tryiing to allocate 995 pages for VMLINUZ
[Linux-EFI, setup=etcetc, size=etcetc]
[Initrd, addr=etc etc, size=etcetc]
The kernel is the latest stab: 042stab084.12
I dont even know what info to provice. No panic, not any messages apart from this.
This was the first restart after installing openvz kernel.
UPDATE: then I realized it wont start neither with the stock kernel :/ I'll try to reinstall it tomorrow. Hope it'll turn out differently will feed back.
Any ideas?
I would really appretiate any help.
Thank you in advance!
Bests,
Semirke

I think I found the reason here:
ht tps: //www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4217
I checked and the USB that I used to install the system has the same UUID as my /boot/efi partition.
And so most likely the boot tried to load bad from bad EFI device.
