I've configured both my host and containers to be DHCP clients. Everything seems to be fine, except when the host boots, it picks up an address but the containers don't.

After booting, if I enter a container and run "service network restart" then an address is assigned. Ditto if I restart a container. Also, if I set ONBOOT=NO and start the container after booting, it works too. So the plumbing seems to be in order.

Can anyone offer any insight as to what the issue might be, or suggest how I can track down what's happening during the boot sequence? Nothing jumped out at me from the logs.

Thanks
