I've seen many posts that state nfsd works in containers on the latest RHEL kernel. I'm running a prebuild debian kernel which doesn't work.

What in the RHEL kernel allows nfsd to work inside a container? Is it something that is only patched in RHEL or is it just a kernel config option? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, there are a number of NFSD virtualization patches which didn't made its way to Debian OpenVZ kernel.
