Hi All, I'm trying to create a template cache on a Debian Etch system. I read this:
http://wiki.openvz.org/OS_template_cache_preparation#Alterna tive:_use_precreated_template_cache
But this seesm Red Hat specific.
I realize I can just download the pre-created templates and drop them into the cache directory, but I hesitate to do that because of this warning from the above page:
Quote: | As an alternative to creating a cache using template metadata, you can use precreated template cache taken from Downloads » Templates » Precreated, or directly from download.openvz.org/template/precreated, or from one of the mirrors.
However, this option is not recommended for production systems since without installing template metadata you will not be able to update your template cache.

What does it mean to "update your template cache"?
Thanks
