hide CT processes from HN ps, pidof, etc. on RHE5 kernels [message #41461]

Hi All!

Is there any way to get same functionality that kernel.pid_ns_hide_child=1 does (with >=2.6.24) but RHEL5 kernels?

2.6.18-194.26.1.el5.028stab070.14

# sysctl kernel.pid_ns_hide_child=1
error: "kernel.pid_ns_hide_child" is an unknown key

The problem is that some service runs both on CT and HN and the service xxxx stop/start does not work on HN, beacuse the process is "already" running... (named for example).
