I use the default supported OpenVZ platform.(i.e Centos-5)
I also use a Centos-5 OS template cache.
Has anyone found any performance benefits,in using other OS template caches(i.e DEBIAN),other than having familiarity.
I have not seen any real advantages,in my particular testing, other than moving away from EXT3,to using a combination of XFS and JFS filesystems on the Node server.
Although,I like DEBIAN for use on low-end machines,as a physical OS,does it really matter,as far as the VE is concerned?
This is mainly out of curiosity.
