Hi, I have a openvz guest running Debian 5 (Lenny) and have issues with the resolver trying to look things up via ipv6 and not via ipv4. Since the guest doesn't have access to disable the ipv6 modules and my host says that ipv6 is required for the newer openvz kernels to boot properly, I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to disable ipv6?

Symptoms: whois looks take upwards of 10-15 seconds.

Kernel: 2.6.26-2-openvz-amd64

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian
