I have not done any cross-compilation, I have never had the need to do so. I also prefer to work on the system that I am building for, it tends to simplify the process.

I have considered in the past using qemu, but my specific interest is in the T1 CPU, and using the actual hardware is preferred. Depending on how things progress, if I want to further my project, I may consider using qemu for a short period until I get the actual hardware to work on directly. Thanks for the suggestions, I will keep them in mind.
