Hi all,
What are the advantages (if any) of merging separate veth devices into a bridge? In additon to this, of course:

Thus you'll have more convinient configuration, i.e. all routes to containers will be through this bridge and containers can communicate with each other even without these routes.

I'm especially interested in possible performance vs. security trade-offs in both approaches.
