PS on HN shows all process--even those in the VE [message #22123]

I just noticed today that running ps -ax on the HN shows all processes that are running on all of the VEs. I hadn't noticed this before, but it seems strange to me. We are running the new .45.1 kernel. Is this normal behavior?
