Hi,

This thread describes the Server configuration:
http://forum.openvz.org/index.php?t=msg&th=379&start =0&

We installed a minimal CentOS 4.3 and got a kernel panic somewhere in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit (at least we think so) - maybe near mounting local file systems.
We used the newest stable openvz kernel for x86_64 SMP systems. We also tried to use acpi=ht to disable acpi - same panic.
The problem is that we had to kill our installation again because the server had to run this morning.
But we did a screenshot of the kernel panic and hope that someone of you can help us.
index.php?t=getfile&id=99&private=0
By the way: your /etc/fstab does not contain any mount points for cdroms... (the kernel panic shows something with cdrom)

Thank you
Bernhard
