Hi to all,

i have some problems with openvz and the scsi controller from Adaptec. It´s the AIC-7899 model (onboard).
I shortly discribe my system:
It´s a P4 1.9Ghz with 1GB RAM. Fedora Core4 is installed an configured like discribed in the openvz documentation. Fedora boots without any probs and the Harddrive at the SCSI Controller is found.
The Problem comes while installing ovzkernel-2.6.8-022stab070.1.i686.rpm
While installing there was a Waring like this:
WARNING: no driver found for AIC-78XX found continouing anyway
(that is not the original warning - but very similarly)
After this i installed vzctl, vzqouta and vzpkg and of course all needed packages for right dependencies. The Bootloader and the sysctl Parameters are configured too.
Finally i wanted to start th vz with
/etc/init.d/vz start
but the command failed.
vz status is telling me that vz is not running.
I looked at the hardware compatibility list liked to the virtuozzo site there is my scsi controller listed.
Has anybody out there an idea to make my vz run?
On an other machine (with IDE Controller) i have vz still running for testing - but the "real" server shoud have an SCSI drive.

I would be happy about every Info.
Thanks a lot.
Lars.
