setting up mrtg to account openVZ VPS bandwidth [message #15090]

Hi,

I want to monitor how much bandwidth is being used by my VPS's. Does anyone have a good step by step howto on how I might set this up.

Would I install it on the hardware node?

Can I just measure traffic coming in and out of the internet gateway?
