Имеем:
RHEL4, при установке был использован диск с драйверами, для поддержки LSI MegaIDE 63000ESB - это SATA RAID.
После установки появился модуль megaide.ko, который вполне себе работал в штатном ядре (2.6.9).
Проблема:
Скачал с сайта 2.6.8-022stab064.1, во время установки пакета получаем ругательство по поводу того, что в пакете отсутствует модуль megaide. После загрузки с этим ядром, в lsmod наблюдаем наличие модуля ata_piix, что в итоге приводит к тому, что в системе видны физические диски напрямую, минуя raid.
Вопрос:
Каким образом можно заставить нормально работать LSI MegaIDE в Вашем ядре если сайт производителя дает модуль в бинарном виде и только под конкретный дистрибутив?
