Hi there,

is anybody running a working pure-ftpd under an open-vz VM ?
(debian and apt-get pure-ftpd)

I tried it out and get this error?

421 Unable to switch capabilities : Operation not permitted

Google told my this :
Try to compile with --without-capabilities.

You need CONFIG_SECURITY_CAPABILITIES=y in your kernel config.
Alternatively if it is compiled as module, it as to be loaded.

Why is this disabled in OPEN-VZ ?
