Hi, I watched James Bottomley's presentation at OpenStack Dev Summit and as I understood him, he said that ALL containerization schemes (LXC, OpenVZ, etc.) would be supported on a unified platform starting from kernel 3.12. However, I am on kernel 3.13 (Ubuntu 14.04) and after installing vzctl still get message the /proc/vz is missing etc. I don't want to run a custom OpenVZ kernel and so I was wondering how to I get OpenVZ working on my generic Ubuntu 3.13.11.6 kernel, or is that even possible? I've looked through net for guides, but they all seem to talk about installing custom OpenVZ kernel, which I thought was exactly what 3.12+ would allow us to avoid having to do - or have I misunderstood what kernel 3.12 actually represents in terms of how we can run LXC, OpenVZ, etc.? TIA, Gilbert
