Dear OpenVZ Community,
I was just introduced to OpenVZ when a friend gave me access to a spare container he wasn't using. "uname -a" reports:
Linux blahblah 2.6.32-6-pve #1 SMP Fri Nov 4 06:54:05 CET 2011 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux
It was originally running Ubuntu 12.04, so the first thing I did was update to 14.04, not realizing it could cause problems with this kernel. Is Ubuntu 14.04 in fact compatible with this kernel? Are there any other caveats I should be aware of with this kernel? I intend to use this machine to serve some Redis instances and a Python web application (via uWSGI) that could get a significant volume of traffic.
Thanks in advance for any help.
