Hello,
I'm looking for information on how to get rpc.idmapd working in OpenVZ.
We are in the process of upgrading our OpenVZ platform from CentOS 5 + NFSv3 to CentOS 6 + NFSv4.
We not NFS4 running file, but I am trying to figure out how to get rpc.idmapd running inside the container so uid-to-name mapping do work.
It seams like the rpc.idmapd process is dependent on atleast two files inside the /proc filesystem tree.
/proc/net/rpc/nfs4.nametoid/channel
/proc/net/rpc/nfs4.idtoname/channel
These files are provided by the kernel module nfsd.ko which we have loaded on the host server.
Anyone got this working or know to setup/configure this?
We are running CentOS 6.2 with the lastest updates and latest stable OpenVZ kernel, 2.6.32-042stab053.5
Regards,
Björn
