Hi,
following situation:
hwnode: 192.168.56.250 = eth0
vmware: ipcop: green-if: 192.168.56.1
red-if: 192.168.5.2
orange-if: 10.54.20.5
vz-ve400: 10.54.20.2 = veth400.0 = eth0 in ve

If've no problem in pinging ve400 from internal net, but it seems unusal to me, that there are always two out-packets and only one returning.
Look at this tcpdump from vmware/ipcop:
00:48:40.964833 IP 192.168.56.150 > 10.54.20.2: icmp 40: echo request seq 49419
00:48:40.964955 arp who-has 10.54.20.2 tell 10.54.20.5
00:48:40.994608 arp reply 10.54.20.2 is-at 00:e0:81:64:1d:4d
00:48:40.994634 IP 192.168.56.150 > 10.54.20.2: icmp 40: echo request seq 49419
00:48:40.994854 IP 10.54.20.2 > 192.168.56.150: icmp 40: echo reply seq 49419
00:48:41.962018 IP 192.168.56.150 > 10.54.20.2: icmp 40: echo request seq 49675
00:48:41.962086 IP 192.168.56.150 > 10.54.20.2: icmp 40: echo request seq 49675

00:48:43.964812 IP 10.54.20.2 > 192.168.56.150: icmp 40: echo reply seq 50187

when i try ssh i get this:
00:51:50.205329 IP 192.168.56.150.2424 > 10.54.20.2.22: S 1188971861:1188971861(0) win 16384 <mss 1460,nop,nop,sackOK>

and no connection at all.

where should I look- what additional informations should I provide?

maybe my concept of firewall / dmz-nodes / internal-nodes on one hardware-node is too odd?

looking forward to a interessting discussion
with best regards
Uwe
