Hi,

I am seeing in CT and HW syslog printk recursion messages (2.6.18-128.1.1.el5.028stab062.3PAE):

kernel: BUG: recent printk recursion!
kernel: IN= OUT=venet0 <2>BUG: recent printk recursion!

Has this bug been resolved in the current kernels ?

I have also seen postings on this bug on other forums.

Do I need to post a bug report, or is a more current kernel (2.6.18-128.1.16) in the works?

Thanks in advance,

At the moment the kernel with the fix is still not available but i can provide the patch if you want so you can apply it and rebuild the kernel.

THANKS!

Recompiled kernel (2.6.18-128.1.1.el5.028stab062.3PAE) w/printk.c patch and my quick initial tests look good.

Any hints on the next kernel release?
