I have a computer running the OpenVZ live CD (for testing) and I followed the tutorial that popped up, and it all worked. I added the IP address, but when I try to ping google, or run apt-get update from the VE, it errors out. I can ping google form the main NH.

1) What error does appear?
2) Did you set up NAT (iptables command)? It is also described in the tutorial that pops up.

no errors appear. When pinging, it just gives you the "unknown host" error.

I followed everything from the pop-up.

Like described above, I can get remote SSH access to it from another machine on the network and I can get internet on the NH(main machine)

Can you please give us output of the following commands in VE _and_ on HN:

ip r l
ip a l
iptables -nv -L
iptables -nv -t nat -L
cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
