Hi
I have been setting up a new machine with Centos 6 and the latest version of
OpenVZ.
The containers were initially able to send/receive to the net but after a
while the containers lost network access. Looking at tcpdump I could see ARP
requests arriving but they were being ignored by the hardware node. I
checked all the /etc/sysctl.conf setting and all seemed to be right. Reboots
and container start/stops made no difference.
After a bit of searching I came across this page -
http://openvz.livejournal.com/34217.html which mentions that vzctl does this
command - ip neigh add proxy x.x.x.x dev eth0
I entered this command manually and all seems right - we will see if it
continues :-)
Has anyone else came across this problem?
