Hello,

I recently started having network problems on 2 VPS's on 2 of my OpenVZ servers, while nothing has changed on these servers recently and they have both been working great for well over a year now.

# service network restart
Shutting down interface venet0: [ OK ]
Shutting down loopback interface: [ OK ]
error: "Operation not permitted" reading key "vm.mmap_min_addr"
SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
error: "Operation not permitted" reading key "vm.mmap_min_addr"
Bringing up loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up interface venet0: Global IPv6 forwarding is disabled in configuration, but not currently disabled in kernel
Please restart network with '/sbin/service network restart'
WARN : [ipv6_add_route] Unknown error
SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable
SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable
SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable
[ OK ]

I even tried creating a new VPS, but the same problem happens, so it looks like I am no longer able to sell any new VPS's on these servers until this is figured out :/ The host node is able to ping the VPS and vice-versa after the above issue happens, but the VPS is not able to reach the outside world, so I'm assuming this is a host node problem and not a VPS problem, especially since creating a new one has the same issue.

Please let me know if you have any ideas of what could be causing this. Maybe I should try a kernel upgrade? My kernels are all 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5.028stab070.5 right now, which isn't very old, but is a few releases behind.

Thanks in advance!
