Hi,

I'm trying to use the new feature of veth and bridging. Maybe I missed something, but when I add a veth to a VE (like described in Wiki/Virtual Ethernet Device), I have a venet0:0 in my VE, and in V0 there is no change at all.

It looks to me like ovz is ignoring the veth-feature and setting network up in the way without vzethdev module.

I'm using the prebuilt devel-ovzkernel (2.6.16-026test015.1-enterprise) on a FedoraCore 4 machine. The module is loaded.

Has anybody an idea what I did wrong?

Thanks for any help
Regards
Stefan

- check that you have vzethdev module loaded:
# lsmod | grep vzeth
- start your VE, it should contain venet device only
- add veth device to VE as described in wiki.
- check that veth device was added:
# vzctl exec VEID ifconfig

post output of these steps here if still experience problems
