Hello,
I have Dell Studio 1535 notebook, running Debian/Lenny and OpenVZ. All software was installed in usual way, from Debian repositories.
While I connected to network, all working well. There is no difference is this network wired or wireless. And so, I have some real interface (eth0 or wlan0) in UP state. But when I drop network connection (leave wireless zone, or unplug cable) - all VE's become unaccessible. At first look, all that is needed for correct throughput, is here. I mean, interface is up (venet0), and route to each VE is still here. And from other side, from VE, all is same - interface is up, and route is present. But network is not working - VE not responding even to simple ping. If I try to bring up some real interface manually, all start working again. For example, I can assign some fake ip to eth0, and bring it up, and all works just fine (I even don't need to connect wire to network card - interface state UP is enough, and state of link does not matter).
Is this known problem, and how I can get all working without magic actions with fake ip?
Thanks in advance.
