Is there a way to remotely restart a VPS server which runs on openvz?

We have several servers running openvz, on these servers run several VPS servers.

I am looking for a way to remotely restart from our website (customer page) the VPS which belogs to that customer.

I am NOT looking for a controle panel on the server itself but a way to remotely login and restart, this commando will be given by our webserver on which we use a customer panel.

Who can advise?

Since you already have a frontend I recomend you one of the following approach's:

  • Build a backend and use sockets to communicate (You'll need some sort of authentication) - More info here
  • Connect via SSH and run vzctl restart veid - More info here
