I added a new block of ips and add them
as follow one file per IP . rebooted the server
ifcfg-eth0:5

DEVICE=eth0:5
BOOTPROTO=static
IPADDR=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
NETMASK=255.255.255.255
ONBOOT=yes

ok i can create containers in openvz and assign ips but i cant ssh to the vps .if i use the ip assigned to the vps to ssh it wont allow access using root and password duo for the vps but on that same ip if i use the root and password duo for the master node i get access to the main node . either using the main ip or any other ip i have in the pool. the only way to shh to the vps is using the vzctl enter VPS_ID command.

i need assistance please help!!

Hello,

please make sure that ip address is assigned inside VE properly.
Are you trying to get veth work?
http://wiki.openvz.org/Veth
Show "ip a l", "ip r l" outputs from inside the VE and from the HN.
