Hi,
we want to buy some new machines for running OpenVZ on it.
We have the option between PERC 6/i an SAS 6/iR for the storage controller, but both are not mentioned on the hardware compatibility-list on Parallels' website...

Is someone out there running one of that storage controllers on their openvz-installation without problems? Or can someone def. confirm that this storage controllers are supported?

Many thanks!

Please check the RHEL5 compatibility list. If RHEL5 kernel supports it, we do.

Oh,
I thought I still have to check at Parallels... Embarassed

RHEL 5.2 supports them! (I know it, because we have it running on that machines....)
