hamachi in openvz - tun problem [message #28453]

hi,
I just wanted to install hamachi, but after "hamachi start" I get

tap: bad response from tuncfg - 05000013
ioctl(SIOCGIFHWADDR ...) failed with 19 (No such device)

It seems it cannot create the tun device ham0.
The config has DEVICES="c:10:200:rw "
And in the VZ I added with "mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200" the tun device.
I use the kernel 2.6.24 with the openvz patch 002
The template is a Fedora Core 4 default.
Hamachi works fine on the host.

Does anyone got hamachi to work in a openvz-node?

This is fallout from so-called "netns" infrastructure in
mainline kernels. This kernel bug will be fixed shortly.
