Hi all,

i've got OpenVZ running from 2.6.24-git (yesterday) and i am encountering a strange problem: if i shutdown my VE the network interface on the HW-node goes down. The interfaces in the config files are correct, the up/down scripts from /etc/vz/dists/scripts seem ok, too and if i boot into 2.6.22-openvz005 everything is fine ...

Thx for any info!

Yes, (in my case its eth1, eth0 is disabled an through constant naming via udev my interface is called eth1) exactly.

Steps:

* ifconfig shows me my eth1
* sudo vzctl start 123
* everything works, hw and ve ndoe
* sudo vzctl stop 123
* eth1 is gone/done.
* ifconfig eth1 up -> back online
