Hi All,
I have about 20 VPS created. When I do a shutdown -r now to re-boot the hardware node it takes a long time for the machine to stop and restart all the VPSes - For me, it can take 20min to 30min to get all the VPSes back online.
Is there anyway to speed up the re-start of VPSes upon re-boot? Being that VPSes are files I would imagine this could be much quicker to have VPSes back online. But, I'm no expert so I can be wrong.
Any info on how long it should take to restart VPSes? I guess this question would depend on a few things I am not aware of but I am just trying to get some ball park ideas.
Also, I was wondering in what manner in which VPSes get restarted - Are VPSes restarted in order based on the VPS ID's? Or, is this random? Is there a way one can control which VPSes gets started first upon a re-boot? It would be a neat feature to specify a priority to choose how VPSes are started.
Appreciate any comments on the above.
Joe
