How can I upgrade to Feisty, I'm not a host, I just rent a VPS off a provider so I only have access to my VPS.

Cheers Sam

Dear Samuel,

I do not think that your question is Virtuozzo specific. You can upgrade any packages inside your VPS, it should work well.

I've googled and found the following description:
http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Feisty#Upgrade_from_Dappe r_Drake_to_Edgy_Eft_to_Feisty_Fawn

In general I do not expect any troubles. As far as I know many people have upgraded their VEs without any problem.

However I would note that as each upgrade this one is a risky procedure and you have a some chance to broke something. If you feel that you are have no enough experience -- probably it makes sense for you to wait until someone confirms that this upgrade really works well.

thank you,

I'm sorry,

now you need request your provider (node owner) to enter into your VPS via "vzctl enter" backdoor, try to up venet interface manually and check that your ssh is accessible now. Then you can contact me via PM -- I'll investigate the reasons of this failure.

Thank you,
