Hello,

I am installing OpenVZ on a new server i have in Meridian Gate London, UK.

Got around to installing it tonight to be greeted by this, i'm not exactly fluent in recompiling kernel's and my testing has been done on an IDE drive which is fine.

Can anyone explain how i can make this work and how to get the drivers working for this SATA Drive;

[root@alpha /]# rpm -ihv http://download.openvz.org/kernel/022stab064.1/ovzkernel-2.6.8-022stab064.1.i686.rpm

hello

you should ignore this warning message it's harmless. Or do you have specific issue?

regards,
Aistis

Sorted it now Wink

I just commented the line's out in /etc/modprobe.conf for the SATA devices, installed the kernel, uncommented the lines again and rebooted, worked fine Smile

These warnings are due to the fact we have these modules builtin in kernel, i.e. we have no modules Smile
simply ignore this warnings, it installed kernel successfully.
