Hi.

So at the moment I've been looking into VZDUMP, using snapshots via LVM.

At the moment, the script fails to back anything up at all and returns the following error;

[root@fe-0-1 ~]# vzdump --snapshot 10001 --dumpdir /usr/src/vzdump
INFO: starting backup for VPS 10001 (/vz/private/10001)
ERROR: creating backup for VPS 10001 failed (0.00 minutes): unable to dump into snapshot (use option --dumpdir) at /usr/bin/vzdump line 678.

Now to fix this, am I correct in thinking that I need around 5GB of unpartioned free space on the disk array for this to work, just read a few posts about this and that's the general gist i've got to fix this issue.

If someone could enlighten me, I'd be most appreciative.

Chris
