I'm trying to install TrixBox 2.2 on my system, and I can't seem to figure out how to create /dev/tty9. I'm sure it's something simple, but I've tried using DEVICE= as well as vzctl set device, but to no avail.

Please advise! Thanks in advance.

Please, be more precise. TrixBox in VE or on HN? When do you get the error "Can't create /dev/tty9"?

Thanks,
Vasily.

I actually don't get an error. It simply just never creates /dev/tty9. To put it simply, I can't seem to create tty9 in my VE.

I thought I read somewhere that this didn't work, so I didn't try it. I thought devices like tty's had to be defined using vzctl. I'll try and report back...
