vzmigrate public key [message #13802]

Starting online migration of VE XXX on X.X.X.X
Error: Can't connect to destination address using public key
Error: Please put your public key to destination node

I get this error when I try to migrate my VPS's, I tried running the ssh-keygen on both nodes but I couldn't quite figure it out.

How do I set up a public key to my other node?

You can google for ssh-keygen or 'authorized_keys'

On the source host, you run ssh-keygen to generate your 2 keys. You copy the content of your public key in /root/.ssh/authorized_keys on the destination host, then change the permissions (chmod go-rwx /root/.ssh/authorized keys. Then try to 'ssh destination_host' from source host as root.
