Any have any issues with network timing out withinthe VE?

ie, got cpanel going and with fantastico, while fantastico is trying to update its files it keeps timing out half way through it.

nothing is being met in the user_beancounters as it over in the far right corner.

Can it be the network issue? Check that internet is available from within your VPS, name servers are working fine etc.

PS the exact error message is very important each time you report a problem.

no its not network related, it just like drops the network connection for a second, but then its back, doesn't really give a error besides, a timeout on the network.

Here's another example, i was compiling php within DirectAdmin ssh'd into a VPS and it just terminated my ssh session, its really strange, it just seems to do somtehing like that when there's something pretty heavy going on in the vps at that time or similar to that.

Terminating a session looks pretty much like resource overusage - if a process gets wildly over limits, kernel has to kill it (sometimes). So are you sure that /proc/user_beancounters do not have anything with failcnt > 0?

Next thing to check would be hardware node (host system) dmesg. Is there anything strange there?
