I'm having a problem with a CentOS 4.4 x86_64 server. I did a clean load of CentOS with a minimal install. I followed the Quick Installation guide. When I attempt to reboot into the OVZ kernel, the server hard locks and the last line that I see on the console is: NET: Registered protocol family 16

Here is a list of hardware that I'm running on:
Dell Poweredge 1800
Xeon 3.0
1GB RAM
Cerc SATA Raid Card
2 80GB SATA drives in a RAID 1 Mirror.

Any ideas?

What kernel version do you use?
Can you post here the /boot/grub/grub.conf file, please.
Please, try to boot with noapic/nolapic/noacpi parameters.
What network card is on your node?

Thanks,
Vasily.
