Hi, you've announced the release of 023stab035 together with the latest testing kernel (no individual announcements anymore?) - but so far it can't be downloaded.

I think, mephisto means the phrase "OpenVZ stable update up to 023stab035" in the announce message concerning 028test007 kernel... This phrase looks a bit confusing for me too. Smile

When it is released, will it be as "kernel" or "ovzkernel"? Please say it will be the former...

We would not change the naming scheme in the middle of the stable cycle.

Kir, why not if it fixes yum for people?

You are right. I have been doing some stable internal releases which occured to have bugs, so now I'm preparing 023stab037 being released on ~Monday next week. Pavel just synchronizes devel 2.6.18 kernels with stable branch, so he can mention the kernel which was never officially released, but which exists.

Are we talking about changing kernel -> ovzkernel in devel series?
Or are we talking about ovzkernel -> kernel in stable series?
I suspect the latter. And the latter will not «fix yum for people», it will rather fuck it up.
