Dear OpenVZ forum users,

as you probably noticed OpenVZ forum "lost" messages created between 18 Jul and 20 Sep 2018.

In pointed period of time forum was processed by clone of original container.

All submitted messages are not lost and I hope it will be restored and merged back into original container.
Unfortunately it's not easy task, and I did not found required functionality in FUDforum interfaces.

I'm sorry for this incident.

Thank you,
Vasily Averin, OpenVZ maintenance

No problem Vasily.

Is there already a plan to set up another forum-software such as phpBB or SMF? Many people don't know that OpenVZ 7 exists when I talk about this subject on Dutch IT-websites.
OpenVZ 7 is still the strongest Container/VM platform in my opinion. Easy to use, easy to manage and very stable/robust for production machines.

Had to do this a few years ago with a deprecated PhpBB2 forum.

No documentation, no tools: in the end, I wrote a PHP script to reinsert posts.

Good luck and many thanks for your message!
