1500 Views and NO Answer however, on mine asks.
No Support vor Debian 9.
No News.
OpenVZ Finish?

OpenVz7 is under active development.

OpenVz based on RHEL5 and RHEL6 kernels works with so-called legacy OpenVz userspace.
Userspace based on separate sources, not related to according Virtuozzo versions.
Most likely it will not be updated anymore.

On the other hand, legacy OpenVz uses the same kernels as Virtuozzo,
so they are still updated.

RHEL5-based kernels will be EOLed in Feb 2018 (see Virtuozzo Containers for Linux ver 4.6)
RHEL6-based kernels will be updated until Nov 2019 (see Virtuozzo 6)

OpenVz7 shares kernel and almost all userspace with paid Virtuozzo.
Unlike from Legacy Openvz it is not few packages but standalone RHEL7-based distribution,
with own reositories and installer.
It is under active development, recently we have released Vz7 update 6
